Because one object holds the state, a cap is a cap and an opt-out is final. Run the four channels as four separate tools and each one enforces its own limits, which is how somebody ends up receiving a text, an email and an ad on the same afternoon. How is this different from a drip campaign in our email tool? +

A drip campaign sends on a timer. These workflows react to behavior and span channels, so someone who opened a quote twice yesterday gets a different next step than someone who went quiet after one reply. They also stop the moment a person replies, books or opts out, which timer-based sequences routinely fail to do.

What do we need to know about SMS compliance? +

Automated texting in the US is governed by the TCPA and carrier rules, which means documented consent, clear sender identification, honored opt-outs and respect for quiet hours in the recipient's own time zone. We build those constraints into the workflow so they cannot be bypassed, and keep a consent and opt-out audit trail. We are not your lawyers — for a compliance opinion, ask counsel.

Will this feel like spam to our customers? +

Only if it is built badly. Frequency caps across all channels, a global quiet period, and immediate suppression on any reply do most of the work. The rest is content: messages that reference the specific thing the person asked about read as follow-up, while generic broadcasts read as spam no matter how well the timing is tuned.

Which channel should each message go to? +

The one the person already used, first. Beyond that we route on engagement history and message type — SMS for time-sensitive confirmations, email for anything with detail or attachments, WhatsApp where the customer already lives, social retargeting for people who never gave contact details. Channel choice is a rule in the workflow, not a habit.

How do you test whether a sequence works? +

By splitting on the variable that matters and measuring to booking, not to opens. We test timing, first-message framing, channel order and message count, hold everything else constant, and let a variant run until the difference is real. Reply rate is a signal; a filled slot on the calendar is the outcome.

What happens when someone replies mid-sequence? +

The sequence stops immediately and the conversation takes over, either with an AI agent or a person. Nothing is worse than a scheduled nudge arriving after a customer has already booked. Suppression rules run across every channel at once, and the CRM record reflects the change in the same moment.
