01 — Automate

Thirty minutes. A real roadmap. Yours either way.

We map how your business actually runs, find where hours and revenue are leaking, and send you a prioritized plan for fixing it. It costs nothing, and you keep the roadmap whether or not you build with us.

What this is

Not a discovery call. An actual diagnosis.

Most first calls in this industry are qualification in disguise. This one produces something you can act on immediately, with or without us.

Almost every engagement we run starts here, and the reason is simple: nobody should buy automation from a brochure. The right first project depends on things a proposal template cannot know — where your inquiries actually arrive, which handoff drops them, what your team does twice because two systems disagree, and whether the constraint is even automation in the first place.

So we do the diagnosis first, in the open, before any money is discussed. Thirty minutes on a call with the people who would build the thing. Then a written roadmap, delivered a few days later, ranked by payback and effort. If you take that document to another firm and have them execute it, that is a completely acceptable outcome for us. The roadmap is the proof of how we work, and we would rather earn the project on that than on a pitch deck.

The name says automation because that is where most conversations begin. In practice the half hour goes wherever the bottleneck is. We have finished audits recommending a rebuilt website before any agent, a demand problem to fix before instant response is worth having, or a trained operations pod because the work genuinely needed judgment rather than a workflow.

What you get

The half hour, and what comes after it.

01

What happens in the 30 minutes

Video callSenior handsNo prep needed

We walk your operation end to end, out loud. Where does an inquiry arrive, and what happens in the next five minutes? Who touches it, in which tool, and what do they retype? Where do things sit waiting for a person who is busy? What did last month's lost deals have in common? Screen sharing your CRM or inbox helps, but is not required — the questions matter more than the artifacts.

  • A live walkthrough of your lead flow, handoffs and daily manual work
  • A look at your current toolstack and what each tool is genuinely earning
  • Straight answers about what AI does well here and what it does badly
  • An honest read on whether the constraint is automation, software, demand or staffing
02

What you receive afterward

Written roadmapRankedCosted

A written prioritized roadmap, sent within a few business days. Not a proposal with a signature line at the bottom — a document that describes what is broken, what to do about it, and in what order, with enough detail that any competent team could execute it. Quick wins sit at the top because momentum matters; infrastructure sits underneath because it is what makes the quick wins durable.

  • A map of your current workflows with the leak points marked
  • A ranked opportunity list — hours recoverable, revenue at risk, effort to fix
  • Toolstack verdict: what to keep, what to connect, what to retire
  • Indicative scope and cost for phase one, so you can budget honestly
  • The document itself, yours to keep and use however you like
03

What it costs

FreeNo obligationNo lock-in

Nothing. There is no fee, no deposit, no credit card and no requirement to do anything afterward. There is no follow-up sequence designed to wear you down either — we send the roadmap, we answer questions if you have them, and the next move is entirely yours. The economics work because a roadmap is the most efficient demonstration of judgment we can offer, and judgment is what people are actually buying.

  • No cost for the call or the roadmap that follows it
  • No obligation to proceed, and no pressure applied if you do not
  • If we build, you get fixed scope and fixed price before work begins
  • Everything we build runs in accounts you own, documented for handover
04

What happens next

Fixed scope2–4 weeksPhase one

If the roadmap makes sense and you want it built, phase one is scoped, priced and dated before anything starts. It is deliberately small — the single highest-payback item, live in weeks, so you can judge the working relationship on shipped software rather than on promises. Larger infrastructure follows once the first thing is running and earning.

  • Phase one scoped to the top item on the list, typically 2–4 weeks
  • Fixed price agreed up front, with no retainer required to start
  • The same senior people from the audit call doing the build
  • Documentation and handover included, so leaving is always possible
How it connects

One audit, four capabilities behind it.

Agents handle the repetitive work. Trained people handle the exceptions, the escalations, and the judgment calls — as part of the same system.

The reason a half-hour call can produce a useful answer is that we are not limited to one kind of recommendation. An audit that can only end in "buy automation" will always end in "buy automation." Ours can end in a CRM cleanup, an instant-response agent, a rebuilt site that finally captures the traffic it gets, a mobile app for the field crew, an SEO and AI-search visibility problem, or a managed operations pod handling exceptions the automation should not touch.

That breadth is the point of an AI-first technology partner rather than a specialist vendor. We integrate what already exists, and build what doesn't — and we tell you which one your situation needs before you have spent anything.

The uncomfortable half

Some of what we find should be left alone.

A process that only runs twice a month, one that is about to be replaced by a platform change, one that is broken in a way automation would simply make faster — none of those are worth building. Saying so costs us the work and saves you the invoice.

The ordering matters as much as the list. You get the sequence too, because the second thing is usually only possible once the first one exists.

How it runs

Book it, walk it, read it.

Step 01 — Book

Pick a time

Send the form and we come back with times, usually the same day. Bring whoever actually does the work — the dispatcher, the office manager, the support lead — not just the person who signs.

Same-day response, typically
Step 02 — Walk it

Thirty focused minutes

We trace your workflows live and ask the uncomfortable questions about where things are dropped. You will get preliminary answers on the call, not a promise to follow up with findings.

The roadmap arrives

A written, ranked, costed plan lands in your inbox within a few business days. Build it with us, build it with someone else, or build it yourself. It is your document.

Common questions

Before you book.

Is the audit really free, or is it a sales call? +

It is free, and the roadmap is yours whether or not you ever work with us. We do it because the fastest way to show how we think is to think about your business for half an hour in front of you. If nothing we do fits your situation, we will say so on the call rather than write a proposal.

What do I need to prepare beforehand? +

Nothing formal. It helps if you can name where inquiries arrive, which tools your team lives in, and the one process that annoys everybody. Screen sharing your CRM or inbox is useful but optional. Come with the problem, not a specification, and bring whoever actually does the work.

Who is on the call? +

Senior hands only. The people on the audit call are the people who build. There is no account manager relaying questions to an engineer later, which is why thirty minutes is enough to reach a real recommendation rather than a discovery form.

What exactly is in the roadmap I receive? +

A written map of your current workflows and where they leak, a ranked list of opportunities with the reasoning behind each rank, a view on what to keep, connect or replace in your stack, and indicative scope and cost for the first phase. It is specific enough that another firm could execute it.

What if the answer is that we should not automate anything? +

Then that is what the roadmap says. Some problems are pricing problems, staffing problems, or a broken handoff that a conversation fixes for free. Automating a process that should not exist is the most expensive mistake in this field, and we would rather lose the project than build it.

Does the audit only cover automation? +

No. Automation is the entry point, but the same half hour regularly surfaces engineering gaps, demand problems and operational staffing issues. If your bottleneck is a site that cannot capture leads, an app that cannot support the workflow, or simply not enough inbound volume, the roadmap covers that too.

What happens after the audit if we want to build? +

You get a fixed scope, a fixed price and a dated plan for the first phase before anything starts. Most first phases run two to four weeks and target the highest-payback item on the list. There is no retainer requirement and no minimum term to begin.

What half an hour buys

A different set of questions
to take back to your team.

Start here

Thirty minutes now, or another quarter doing it by hand.

There is no cost, no obligation and nothing to prepare. Worst case, you spend half an hour and walk away with a written plan for fixing the thing that has been annoying your team all year. Best case, it is live in a few weeks.
